Choi Jeong Hwa featured at Aukland Art Gallery Voluminous, weightless, brightly colored flowers – seemingly suspended in space – hang from the ceiling in the atrium of Auckland Art Gallery. Commissioned to celebrate the Gallery’s opening, Choi Jeong Hwa’s signature inflatable flowers are on display until September 2012. An additional work from the “bad boy of Korean art”, entitled Red, can be found in the reflection pool in the Gallery’s forecourt.
